Mechanic: Ocean View, DE
Local Landscape Company is looking for a professional with 7 (+) years. Must have knowledge with truck gasoline and diesel engines, troubleshooting 12/24 volts wiring/lighting required, commercial lawn mower and 2 cycle equipment is a plus, ability to work M-F 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and ability to work effectively in a team environment a must. Position will require maintaining and keeping equipment used for landscaping production, completing preventive maintenance on equipment and vehicles, such as oil changes, tune ups, brakes, tire maintenance, wheel balancing and filters replacement, keeping shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs, maintaining appropriate service and repair records, responding to emergency and routine maintenance calls and assisting and serving as a back up to other facilities. Freelance Landscape Designer: Ocean View, DE
Large Local Landscape company is looking for a part time freelance landscape designer with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture or 5 years of relevant on the job experience. Regional familiarity in horticulture and landscape construction implementation, along with AutoCAD experience a must.
Candidate must be able to analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs; Operate computer-aided drafting (CAD) equipment / software or conventional drafting station to produce designs, working drawings, charts, forms and records; Draw rough and detailed scale plans for foundations, building and structures, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculation, specification sheets and other data; Create freehand drawings and lettering to accompany drawings; Prepare colored drawings of landscape for presentation to client; Preparation of costs estimates and contract proposals; Provide accurate information in bid packet to assist administrative assistant; Produce sales.
